I have had a love/hate relationship with Couch to 5k's week 4....
the first workout i finished all of itt and felt awesome because i had run 5 minutes for the first time in almost 20 years....
second time out: dehydration and humidity forced me to cut the last 5 minute run short when I was doing so well before
third time out: app screwed up and i lost track of my intervals plus i was hot, sweaty, and grumpy....
today: fourth time is the charm? YES! i intentionally slowed down my walking intervals because I suspected I was going out too hard and didnt have the energy to last the distance (even if its only two miles...). It wasn't always easy (especially cause i was tired and such...) but I managed to complete all of my run intervals at a very steady pace (my negative split was a whopping 3 seconds)
so i feel awesome....and hopeing that if i can have another love day, I can finally move on...
oh and my DH nearly bowled me over....he is thinking about doing the Disney Goofy Challenge in January...that means he will be doing a half marathon on saturday and a full marathon the next day....39.3 miles? not a problem. if he does that, I am going to do the half with him....not a bad way to run our first race togehter :-)
I would so love to do a half followed by a full. It just sounds so bada$$.
